The right material for any application

When it comes to industrial work chairs, there is a particular focus on having durable materials and easy-care surfaces. PU (polyurethane), robust cover fabrics with high abrasion cycles, imitation leather and wood are long-lasting materials that are perfectly suited for this purpose. Depending on the specific area of use, the surfaces need to be washable or resistant to cleaning products and disinfectants, abrasion-resistant or conductive. The antistatic feature of the materials also reduces electrostatic charging. The upholstery is specially sealed to give it a clean-room-compatible finish. If the workstation is used 24/7 by different shifts, the chair needs to be able to cope with this level of load. The material must satisfy the highest durability standards to withstand constant use. This is because an extreme workload is a challenge for both people and the chair they are working on.

Tips for healthy sitting and working!

A good industrial work chair has many setting options and allows the user to individually adjust it to their body size and proportions. Maximum freedom of movement for the arms and shoulders is just as important as having a healthy posture that promotes performance. In production areas and workshops or businesses, standing chairs or standing aids not only guarantee maximum freedom of movement, but also support a dynamic seated posture while standing.
